I have read your suicide page and some of the responses. I believe that some of these people can be and are as knowledgable about Bible interpretations as you.

Preachers tell us that the old testament says not to consort with sorcerors, witches and those who attempt to communicate with those spirits that have gone into the fire. What does FIRE mean? All my concordances equate it with hell. None of those I have had contact with say they can communicate with spirits of those in Hell (fire?) but they DO communicate with spirits of those who are in Heaven. We have learned some valuable information through a person who does automatic writing. She has told us things she learned from our son, things that were true but which we did not know. My son actually told her who murdered him long before the police had any clues. Those Chrstians who have the gift of being able to talk with spirits who are in Heaven are not sorcerors or witches, who cast spells, etc.

If God can give some people the gift of laying on hands to heal, and to others the gift of speaking in tongues, who is to say he has not given the gift of being able to communicate with spirits in Heaven? Someone said our information was coming from the devil. It does not matter to me where it comes from. It is important information that we did not previously know. It helped solve his murder. Call it what you will. If doing this is a sin, we ask for forgiveness. But I firmly believe it is NOT sinful.

I absolutely agree with this statement. There are millions of opinions, just as there are millions of lies, but there is only One Truth. And that truth is every word that is in the Bible which Is God's Word to us. For the Bible tells us that EVERY Word in the Bible has been and is inspired by God himself.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

I have no wish to hurt you, for you have already received much hurt. But I must answer your letter as truthfully as possible, for it does you no favor to make believe that there is nothing wrong with either your actions or your beliefs. I must answer you, for one day I will stand before my God and will be judged on how I respond to your letter.

Answer:
There has never been a gift of speaking to ANY spirit, anywhere, heaven or hell!!! The ONLY Spirit that God allows anyone to speak with or to pray to is to Himself. Anything else is an abomination to God. Anyone who seeks to speak to, or pray to anyone who has died on this earth is guilty of being a NECROMANCER, that is the term given by God to anyone who seeks to interrogate the dead. This is the practice of a Medium, and is a form of witchcraft and of Divination, which is the seeking of hidden information from any source other that God Himself. Throughout the Bible this practice is forbidden and is shown to be an Abomination before God.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you anyone who maketh his son or daughter pass through the fire, or who useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter of familiar spirits, {note: a medium} or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord......

Look up the word Necromancer in your own English dictionary and you will see that it is tied to witchcraft, and the dead.

There never was, nor will there ever be a Christian who will do this abominable act. And Yes, there are many who do these things and still Call themselves Christians, but they are not Christians, they are fakes, telling you lies of false Doctrines.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. Speaking lies in hypocrisy having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

King Saul was told by God's agent Samuel, that he would be a dead man the next day because he turned away from God, disobeying God and consulting with the witch of En-dor. (a witch, a medium, one who had a Familiar spirit) 1 Samuel 28:7-20

Answer:
They are telling you lies, the only ones they can communicate with are Familiar spirits, who are Demons, devils if you prefer. And automatic writing is a form of contact with these Familiar spirits or demons. Of course these demons can give information to lead you and many others away from God Almighty and toward Satan. They can and do sometimes tell the truth. An example is shown in Acts.

Acts 16:16-18 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much gain by soothsaying, The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the Most High God, who show unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee, in the name of Jesus Christ, to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

A little truth by a demon will lead you to believe his lies later.

Answer:
Not only the old testament but the new testament also warns us not to associate with, or to use anyone, who attempts to communicate with Any spirit, other than God Himself.. For the new testament tells us that those who do abominable things will never enter heaven (if they do not repent before death) Those who do these things will go into Hell's Fire and later Hell itself, and all who are in it, will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, and there will suffer Torments for all the time that will ever be in all of eternity.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore-mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

One is just as guilty to make use of anyone who practices these abominations, as it is to practice these abominations yourself.

It is absolutely true that the information you received came from Satan's demons, or devils. You have see above only a small part of God's words against this practice. The information DID NOT come from God!!

You say that it doesn't matter to you. But I will tell you that it DOES matter to God. For God has said that either you follow Jesus Christ and Obey all that God has told you in His Word the Bible and thus will be able to enter into Heaven, or else you will enter Hell and be tormented forever in it's fires.

The choice is yours, for God gave you freedom to choose where you will spend eternity.

Of course if you do not believe God's Word . . . . . .

Answer:
You say that your son was murdered, and my heart goes out to you for that pain, But know this, your son never told anyone who murdered him. For after death it is impossible for him to have done so. But that demon who told you now has you twisted around his little finger, for now you are ready to believe anything that that demon wants to tell you. That demon has made you turn far away from God and has placed in your heart hate, and vengeance.

Answer:
Yes, consulting with someone with a familiar spirit is a sin, but you will never have forgiveness until you realize that it is a sin. Only then will you ask God for forgiveness and receive that forgiveness.

You cannot imagine how much my wife and I appreciate your reply to my e-mail. You spent a lot of time on it and we really do understand and thank you.

You have explained a lot to us, much the same as our minister has. Perhaps my believing that what we were told by this person who "communicated" with our son is one reason I cannot have peace, no matter how hard I pray. My wife is taking our son's death much better than I. I cry every day and she cries only occasionally. I have lost 30 pounds and all my ambition and drive is gone. I read the Bible almost every night and pray hard day and night. Knowing our son was a Christian as a youth, was baptised and attended church regularly, and that God did so much through him in helping less fortunate people and never bragging about it makes us know he IS in Heaven. The actions as described in the latter part of John are so much like my son's actions. We want to meet him in Heaven and I think your letter has convinced me that my son's spirit is not comunicating with anyone on earth. Although every thing we have received has been true information that no one knew before. And he did tell who killed him long before the police had a clue. My minister says this information may be true but it came from the Devil and, as you said, information such as we have received is just a precursor to our believing other things the Devil tells us..I thank you so much for taking the time and interest to straighten me out. I know God will bless you.

Thank you for responding Ed,

No one can imagine the hurt you and your wife have gone through until they themselves have gone through it. But there is healing, if you place your trust in Jesus. For Jesus has promised us healing. As you know, Jesus died that we might have healing, not just from sins, but also physical and mental healing.

When you place all your pain on the altar, giving it all to Jesus Christ, then Jesus will give you the healing that you and your wife so badly need.

I know that you and your wife will never forget the wonderful child that your both had. You will never forget all the memories of his growing up, all the times that all of you laughed together. To sit down and look at the pictures of him is good, all of these memories are good, and you should hold onto them. Jesus doesn't want you to forget them.

The memory of how he died, is a nightmare to you both. And while it is a terrible thing, you must find it in your hearts to forgive the person who has done this horrible thing. With the help of Jesus, this can and will be done. It is an absolute necessity that you forgive that person in your heart. I know that right now you do not see how this can be. But place your heart in the hands of Jesus and this will be done, and with it will come peace. It is only by forgiving that you will be able to join your son in heaven.

To know that your son is in heaven, with Jesus, with the angels, and will never again have any pain or suffering, what greater gift can ever be given. I know that that is small comfort to you right now, but I remember the peace that I had when My Lord God let it be known to me that my father, my dad, was in heaven with him. And I wasn't even a christian then.

When you go to the altar to give it all to Jesus, it does not have to be in a church building, it can be at your own personal altar, such as kneeling at a chair, or next to your bed, or just walking around somewhere where you feel comfortable talking to God. It is at those places that the most powerful prayers are said. And what is a prayer, it is simply talking to God just as you would talk to anyone. This is the time that you can bare your soul to God, to tell him absolutely anything that you want to say for He will always listen to you, will never interrupt you, will never ridicule you for what you are telling Him. Jesus Loves you and your wife, and Jesus has been hurt also by the early death of your son.

I don't have any easy or magical answers. I can only tell you what I know and believe with all of my heart. I can though, ask you to place your trust also in your pastor, who I believe, will lead you in God's truth.
