Question:
You have asked why I have rejected bible translations other that the KJV when the other versions are just as good, if not better.

Answer:
It is not now, nor has it ever been, a King James Version verses any Other Version!! It is a WORD OF GOD ISSUE.

If you think that all that they changed in the newer versions was to do away with the "thee, thou," etc. then you do not even have a beginning idea of what God's Word is. If you cared to check, you would find that they removed thousands of words, many verses entirely, and changed words which changed the meaning of the verses. They then added additions. Every bit of this has been condemned by God in both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

God said that His Word will never change, not so much as a period or an accent mark, that anyone who added to His Word or took away from His Word would be cursed by God. The King James Version has not changed in the 400 years it has been in print, and the writings that it was taken from or translated from has not changed in thousands of years. Those who would have you BUY Their Version will try to tell you lies that the KJV has thousands of changes. They would rather have you accept their Counterfeit Bible than the real thing, after all they can't make money off of the real thing.

As I said at the beginning, it is a Word of God Issue. Since God's Word does not change, and since every version of the Bible is different, then you had better figure out which one of them is the Word of God and reject all of the rest of them as satanic imitations.

As you have seen, I made my choice and declare my belief that the KJV is the true Word of God. From your letter, I take it that you believe who ever it was who said that one bible is just as good as another. The Bible version you choose is the one you will live by, and die by. If it teaches you lies, can you get into heaven when you believe those lies? Believe as you like, If you wish to believe that what you walk on is the sky and that the clouds are in the Earth, then so be it. It is your choice, your life, and your decision where you will spend eternity.

You might note though that all of the newer versions tell you how much better they are than the KJV, but never compare themselves against any other version.

Hello xxxxxx,

In answer to your following statement:

Quote:
We seem to agree upon my understanding, that the original manuscripts Were translated into Latin, from Greek and Hebrew (((Greek and or Hebrew -- It just depends upon Old or New testament and the writer))). That Latin was then translated into English about 400 years ago into what we now know as the King James Bible.
Unquote:

You are incorrect in your belief that the English Bible versions were translated from the Latin!!! This is a point that was not covered in my answer to you, and I DO NOT agree that they were first translated into Latin and then translated from Latin into English!

Every one of the English translations, those before the KJV, and the KJV were translated from the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts, as well as any previous English versions that was in existence at that time..

I would suggest that you do a little more studying on the subject. It is not as many so called scholars claim today.

As for making a judgment, yes I have, and your last letter confirmed what I came to believe from your first letter.

I give you an answer that I know is correct. I didn't get that answer from man. As I said in my first answer, you had better figure out which version is the Word of God, and follow only that one, regardless of what any man says. All of your other arguments shows that you are unwilling to make that decision.
