BROTHER JACK,ARE THE CHURCH DENOMENATIONS OF GOD, MAN OR DO THEY ORIGINATE SOMEWHERE ELSE? GOD BLESS XXXXXX

Answer:
Church denominations are of man. You are either part of the bride of Jesus Christ, or you are not, for only those who accept and worship Jesus Christ can be part of the bride of Jesus Christ, and therefore gain salvation.

Man would have you to believe that their way of believing is the right way to God. And so man has started many different denominations to follow the teaching of the different men who preceded us in life.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that there will be people from each of the denominations who will gain salvation and a place in heaven, Because, they truly serve Jesus Christ as their Lord, Master, and God. And there will be a multitude of people in each of these denominations who will not see heaven, because they serve the church and the laws of man rather than God.

Here we are speaking of Christian denominations, and not cults and other religions which serve other gods.

To truly follow christ, you must accept that Jesus is the Christ who died on the cross for us and rose from death to life on the third day, that Jesus is the Son of God, and that Jesus is God the Word or the Word of God, and then repent and obey all that God has commanded us to do, (all the way to the time of your death). Then study God's Word, the Bible, daily. Pray constantly, and test every man's words by testing the spirit, checking the words back against what the Bible says, and going direct to God Himself for the true answers.

I hope this will help you, now, take what I have just said here and go before God in prayer, asking God if I speak the truth.

Question:
WE KNOW THAT CHRIST IS THE FOUNDATION THAT WE BUILD UPON,HOW THEN CAN THE DENOMENATIONAL CHURCHES OF MAN BE BE PLACED UPON THAT FOUNDATION?

Answer:
The denominational churches themselves can not be placed upon that foundation as a denomination, for only what is of God will be on that foundation. Only the individual counts, not the denomination, It is the individuals who make up the church. Having said that, I will continue along this line after the next question.

Question:
IS GOD OBLIGATED TO PARTISIPATE OR JOIN THE MAN MADE DENOMENATIONAL CHURCHES THAT DIVIDE THE BODY OF CHRIST?

Answer:
No! However we stand on the Word of God which tells us that where two or more are gathered in His name, there will He be. So when believing Christians gather together to worship God, then Jesus will be with them along with the Holy Spirit and that group of people will be and are the Church. God only looks at the hearts of the people, and not what kind of building they may be in. So what I am saying here is that God will not be there because it is a denomination, but rather, God will be there because of the hearts of the people who are gathered together. This can be in any denominational church, or a non-denominational church, or even a few people meeting in a home or under the open sky.

This is not saying that we do not need to go to church just because God does not recognize denominations, for God's Word tells us that believers are to join together. For we lift each other up and strengthen each other toward God. To try standing alone is to be brought down by satan. When you go to church, choose a church whose people in that church worships God rather than just one that has church services. If you ask God to direct you, he will send you to a church of His choice and you will feel comfortable there and will grow in the lord.
