The Battle of Armageddon
Interpretation of Raymond Aguilera's Prophecy 55, 418
The star in this prophecy is Jesus Christ. The peace treaty will be signed in Jerusalem, very near to where Jesus was crucified, and will be signed at the start of the Tribulation period. This is the peace treaty that the Antichrist will later break. The prophecy tells us that Jesus will return when there is a full moon at that location and all will be able to see Him. For prophecy 55 says "When the moon is up". The slaughter of the Goats will continue for a day and a night. At the end of that time, the goats will be totally conquered. All those who have gathered themselves together at the urging of Satan to fight against Jesus will now be dead.
If you think that this army will be small, then you need to read the bible again. The bible tells us (gives the locations [in different books of the bible] of the battle of Armageddon) that the armies coming against Jesus will fill an area 200 miles north to south and 100 miles east to west, with Jerusalem in the center. The battle area will stretch from Megiddo on the north (Zech 12:11, Rev 16:16) to Edom on the south (Isa 34:5-6, 63:1). It will reach from the Mediterranean Sea on the west to the hills of Moab on the east. It will include the valley of Jehoshaphat (Joel 3:2, 12) and the Plains of Esdraelon. At the center will be the city of Jerusalem (Zech 14:1-2)
There are at least four important names involved in the battle of Armageddon:
2. The valley of Esdraelon -- a valley twenty miles long and fourteen miles wide, north and west of Jerusalem between the Holy City and the Mediterranean Sea. Esdraelon is the Greek version of Jezreel.
3. Megiddo -- a flat plain in the valley of Esdraelon (Zech 12:11).
4. Bozrah -- a city in Edom, east of the Jordan River and near Petra, the capital city of Edom. These two cities will play an important role during the Second Coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. (Isa. 34:6, 63:1).
Revelation 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand, and I heard the number of them. (200 million)
Revelation 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Revelation 19:21 And the remnant where slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth; and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
And Revelation 14:20 tells us that when the sinners (goats) are harvested, that the blood will run as high as a bridle on a horse, for a distance of 1600 furlongs.
In Prophecy 418 we see that even though the number of goats is large, that when compared to God, the goat is really very small and will be destroyed by God.
